在1989年6月3日至4日於天安門廣場的中國民主運動受到軍事鎮壓21年後，中國政府仍拒絕對事件進行公開而獨立的調查，反而繼續檢控批評鎮壓或記念死難者的國民，指控他們「煽動顛覆」，在不公平審判後，將他們判處長期監禁。

 明天請與我們一起到維多利亞公園，悼念「六四事件」死難者，並呼籲中國當局立即釋放被捕維權人士。

我們亦於興發街入口設置攤位，呼籲香港市民參與「寫信行動」，聲援譚作人、劉曉波及胡佳三位被囚維權人士 。

Twenty-one years since the military crackdown on pro-democracy protests in and around Tiananmen Square on 3-4 June 1989, the Chinese authorities still refuse to hold an open and independent inquiry. Instead, they continue to prosecute citizens who criticize the crackdown or commemorate its victims, accusing them of "inciting subversion" and imposing lengthy imprisonment after unfair trials.

Join us at the annual commemoration tomorrow at Victoria Park and call for the Chinese authorities to immediately release those who were involved in the Charter 08 and other human rights defenders.

AIHK will have a stall near the Hing Fat Street entrance and urge Hong Kong public to join the Urgent Actions to support Tan Zuoren, Liu Xiaobo and Hu Jia -- the 3 human rights defenders in prison in China.
