More than thousand of casualties, almost half are civilians, most perished from air strikes, artillery fire and clashes;
The Israeli army’s attacks are directed disproportionately at civilians and civilian buildings;
Rocket attacks launched by Palestinian armed groups into southern Israel are indiscriminate and target Israeli population centres;
Most of the civilian population in Gaza has no access to humanitarian aid…

The toll is rising every minute…

“Make It Stop! – Protect Civilians Now” calls for:
Protection of civilians
Relief for civilians
Protection of medical personnel, facilities and ambulances
Access for humanitarian workers, human rights workers and journalists
Tthorough, independent and impartial investigation into abuses of human rights

 “Make It Stop! – Protect Civilians Now” is part of AI Week of International Action for Gaza, together with AI sections around the world and the international community to call on Israel, Hamas and other Palestinian arms groups to immediately cease all attacks on civilians and disproportionate attacks which harm civilians.
