The 1st Human Rights News Commentary Contest (HRNCC) was a success! This year we received over 100 submissions from secondary schools and the public. After careful consideration our judges have selected outstanding entries from each category.
You are now cordially invited to the HRNCC Award Ceremony. Winners will be announced on the occasion. Outstanding prizes will receive a certificate and a prize worth HKD3,000 and Merit awards will receive a certificate.
We are proud to invite Ken Lui (雷子樂), one of the winners of the Human Rights Press Award 2009, as a guest speaker to shed light on the significance of human rights reporting.
