INTERN - Campaign Intern

Description

The intern is responsible for organizing advocacy events and carrying out campaigning tasks. The intern is expected to commit at least 3 months of full time work.

Requirements

  • Share and support the value of human rights;
  • Good knowledge of the socio-political, human rights and cultural situations of HK, Mainland China and
  • Asia Pacific;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
  • Able to work efficiently under minimum supervision
  • Experience in working with NGOs is preferred
  • Applicant must have working rights in Hong Kong

 INTERN - Fundraising Intern

Description

The intern is responsible for telemarketing, mainly contacting lapsed and major donors and supports the fundraising team by carrying out other tasks. The intern is expected to commit at least 3 months of full time work.

Requirements

  • Good command in Cantonese and English
  • Punctual and nice, with positive working attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Good organizing ability
  • Able to work efficiently under minimum supervision
  • Basic knowledge in social and human rights issues is a plus
  • Applicant must have working rights in Hong Kong

INTERN - Human Rights Education Intern

Description

The intern is responsible for researching and developing human rights education materials on a selected topic. There is no minimum duration for this internship, but interns are required to complete a full set of materials over the course of their internship.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master or PhD program in human rights law
  • Strong research skills, and policy analysis experience desirable
  • Excellent command of the English and Chinese and strong writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the Hong Kong educational system is preferable
  • Degree holders with exceptional research experience and human rights law knowledge will also be considered
  • Applicant must have working rights in Hong Kong
