【621警總案】黃之鋒、周庭及林朗彥被判即時入獄

黃之鋒、周庭和林朗彥因去年在警察總部外示威,今日被法庭判處7至13.5個月監禁。國際特赦組織亞太區域主任Yamini Mishra回應如下: 「香港政府又一次出於政治動機,以『煽惑他人參與未經批准集結』等罪名,起訴純粹以和平方式表達訴求和示威的人士。」 「當局在這些『無大台』的示威活動中,選擇控告知名社運人士,旨在殺雞儆猴,警告任何敢於公開批評政府的人都可能會有同樣下場。」 「即使示威現場出現個別暴力行為,或破壞公物的情況,政府亦不應該將這些法律責任強加在高調發聲的社運人士身上。」 「除了黃之鋒、周庭和林朗彥外,香港仍有很多人因去年反修例示威被判監 — 他們大部份都只是和平進行示威活動,卻被政府用不同罪名起訴。」 「黃之鋒等三人今日被判監,侵害了他們的表達自由以及和平集會權利。三人的罪名應被立即撤銷,並獲無條件釋放。」
